By booking a service with Local Solutions Appliance Repair (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before proceeding with your appointment.

1. Service Agreement

By scheduling an appointment with Local Solutions, you authorize us to perform a diagnostic assessment and, if agreed upon, complete the necessary repair services for your appliance. You understand that all services provided will be in accordance with our pricing structure, as outlined on our website.

2. Diagnostic Fee

A standard diagnostic fee will be charged for the initial assessment of your appliance. This fee covers the cost of diagnosing the issue and may not include any repair work. The diagnostic fee is non-refundable and is required regardless of whether you choose to proceed with repairs.

3. Labor and Repair Charges

Once the diagnostic is completed, we will provide an estimate for the repair. Standard labor charges apply, unless specialty repairs or unique circumstances arise that require additional time or resources, in which case a rate multiplier may be applied. We will seek your approval before proceeding with any repair that incurs additional charges.

4. Specialty Repairs

Certain repairs that involve complex tasks, additional personnel, or specialized tools may incur higher labor fees. Examples include, but are not limited to, repairs for propane appliances, stacked units, induction cooktops, or other hard-to-access appliances. You will be informed if your repair qualifies for these higher rates.

5. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellations

We strive to provide an accurate service window for all appointments. However, times are estimates and subject to change based on circumstances outside our control. You will be contacted 30 minutes prior to arrival. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel within this timeframe may result in a cancellation fee.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the repair unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept all major payment methods. You will receive an invoice that outlines all fees, including diagnostic, labor, and any applicable specialty charges. Payment instructions are found on the invoice. Your invoice is found in your personal client portal.

7. Warranties and Liability

Local Solutions Appliance Repair provides a limited warranty on parts and labor for a period of 90 days. This warranty covers defects in workmanship or parts installed by us. It does not cover issues caused by misuse, neglect, or additional unrelated appliance failures.

We are not liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the appliance or our services. 

8. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions at the service location pose a health or safety risk, if the appliance is inaccessible, or if there are any other unforeseen circumstances that prevent us from completing the repair.

9. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. We collect and use your personal information ONLY as necessary to provide our services.

10. Changes to Terms

Local Solutions Appliance Repair reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them prior to scheduling a service.
