Oven
Common codes applying to Kenmore branded as well.
F10 - Overheating Oven: This indicates a possible runaway oven condition due to a faulty relay or RTD sensor probe. Replace the RTD sensor probe if necessary. If the oven continues to overheat, disconnect the power and consider replacing the Electronic Oven Control (EOC). In cases of severe overheating, the entire oven might need replacing.
F11 - Shorted Key: A key on the oven has been detected as pressed for an extended period, causing the oven to halt all activity. To resolve, press the STOP key, and if the issue persists, replace the EOC or the keyboard (touch panel).
F13 - Internal Checksum Error: The internal checksum of the control may have become corrupted. Try pressing the STOP key, disconnecting power for 30 seconds, and reconnecting. If the issue recurs, replace the EOC.
F14 - Misconnected Keyboard Cable: Check the cable connections between the touch panel and EOC. If reconnecting does not resolve the issue, replace the EOC or the keyboard.
F15 - Controller Self-Check Failure: Replace the EOC if the self-check fails.
F27 - Communication Error: This error occurs if the control is unable to communicate with the touch panel for accent light control. Check the connections and ensure the touch panel receives the correct voltages. If issues persist, troubleshoot or replace the associated hardware.
F30/F31 - RTD Sensor Probe Issues:
F30: Indicates an open RTD sensor probe or wiring problem. Check the wiring and probe resistance. Replace the RTD sensor if necessary.
F31: Indicates a shorted RTD sensor probe or wiring problem. Follow similar steps as for F30 to diagnose and resolve.
F62 - Missing Zero-Cross Signal: Replace the EOC if this signal is missing, indicating an electrical issue.
F90 - Door Motor Mechanism Failure: The control does not detect the door motor rotating. To resolve, press the STOP key and check the wiring and functionality of the Lock Motor, Lock Switch, and Door Switch. If the motor fails to operate correctly, replace the Lock Motor Assembly.
F95 - Continuous Door Motor Operation: If the door motor does not stop or the F95 error recurs, press the STOP key, check the motor wiring, and if necessary, replace the EOC or door latch assembly.
